Stage Fencing Equipment Theft In Houston

I have received the following from Ann Harlan, SW representative to the Society of American Fight Directors:

"The theater department at University of Houston had a break-in and someone stole a bunch of their training equipment:

Several Epee blades with Saber guards

Several double-wide Epee blades with saber guards

Several long-blade daggers fitted with homemade crossguards, plain pine handles and ball pommels

Several knives with rosewood looking handles."

If anyone sees these or receives an offer to sell them, send a PM to schlager7. If you can do so at no risk, act like you may be interested in buying. (Do NOT do anything risky.) I have Brian Byrnes number at UH and will call him ASAP (I'm hesitant to just post him phone number but I check by here several times per day.) - schlager7

I'll admit, it was me.

On a more serious (I was joking!) note, check ebay. Some of the stuff might show up there.

Damn LARPers. That sort of behavior makes me ill. Why can't they steal REAL weapons?
