Yeah, the dragging along without resolution is annoying. What I'm interested in seeing is how/if they resolve the scientific/supernatural thing going on. How will they explain the stuff with Jack's dead dad appearing, with soaking Walt appearing? I have to say, though, the two leads among the back-of-the-plane survivors seem pretty badass so far. And I'm anticipating a Kate-Sawyer-new girl love triangle. |

"I just think it speaks to people's fascination with numbers and the what-if factor," Neubauer said. |

| I think I'm the only person at work who hasn't seen it yet... should I wait and watch them from the beginning, or is it something you can get into midway through?

| I'd recommend watching from the beginning. There will still be a lot of stuff left unexplained, but at least you'll have a better idea of who the characters are. |

| Question Time? What was Kate looking for in the messages? Was it the Sawyer note as she said or another note?
Did any one else interested how 'the others' on the boat who took Walt were fully vlothed but 'the others' who they saw in the jungle seemed to be barely dressed?
What happened to the rest of the 23 that were in the other group? Eaten by the others? Killed out right just because?
Where did Desmond go?
Where is the French Chic?
How did Kim learn English so quick after resisting it for so long on the island?
Who is entering the numbers now?
So many questions, so many more.
This show really is good. One of the few shows I record and watch later.
Side note, this really isn't like the X-Files. The only thing that really is X-Files-ish is the black cloud floating around that we haven't seen in some time. Maybe a case could be made for a connection between Walt seeing a picture of the bears then they appear, the underground city then the hatch is found but that really is a stretch.
This show really is stand alone from other shows for many reasons.
I did like how Kim laughed at the other two people when they were trying to fish and he throws out a net once and pulls in 3 or 4 fish when they are throwing a net everywhere and can't get any. Very good example of working smart not hard. |

Who is entering the numbers now? | It's surprising how easy it is to pick up a language just through body language; commonly used words, especially. The reason Jin was resisting it so long was because he separated himself from the rest of the passengers. Now that he's involved himself with the group, he's learning a lot faster.
I think the numbers were being entered by people in shifts; Locke, Jack, Kate, and Hurley. |

| Supposedly the blonde chic will die next but we shall see.
Good question:
Who will die/be killed next?
or
Who should die/be killed next?
My vote:
Will? Kate
Should? New leader girl from the other group of survivors. |

| Well, Jin and the African guy found one of them in the jungle, rotting with a spear through his chest. So they aren't dinner... |

| Doesn't mean others weren't dinner one night.
Does this make him a lucky or unlucky one? |

| No, man, the Others would be the ones having the dinner.
But if they were really cannibals, would they have taken Walt off the raft and left his dad and Sawyer behind, or taken them along for the larder?
THINK, man! |

| Even cannibals need more genetic stock to keep the group going.
He is the only one on the island who has a foreseeable future of being able to have kids and have them for the longest period of time.
Everyone else is good to keep their hunting skills sharp. |

| No Jack?
Who Dies?
I love this show!
Interesting how the focus is shifting from the folks we know to the 'other side of the island' for a while. The little blonde girl getting shot was very interesting. Could do without the flashbacks though, they are getting old and tired, we already know the characters.
So, who dies? There has been lots of speculation that Kate is the one to die but that would have to be in a couple of weeks as they want to focus for at least one week on the other side of the island.
I still wonder, where is Desmond?
Who is pushing the button?
What was the black cloud?
What is it making all the noise?
Where is the french chic?
Can I get the 2nd season on DVD now? |

Shannon was shot but mised where she actually died, she likely will but the show ended right after she was shot. I wish Pip would get killed. |
