Array I really wanted to go this year, but unfortunately I've got too many other things going on, both academically and in running the team here. "Their interpretation is, however, refuted most elegantly by your system of radioactive atom + amplifier + charge of gun powder + cat in a box"

I'm new to the forum but I wont be at the PSU but my team will be, Go Cleveland State University fencers -
Some of the Ohio State team will be there, and some of the Notre Dame team will be there. Anybody know why they moved it from the end of November to this weekend? So far as I know, the Max Garrett Open has always been near the end of November! Guess I was counting on it. -

So far as I know, the Max Garrett Open has always been near the end of November! Guess I was counting on it. Was originally the weekend of 11/12-13. When the Junior/Cadet NAC landed on that weekend it was deemed too much of a conflict (the Junior World Cup with bounced year-to-year between conflicting with the Penn State Open and the Temple Open wasn't too big a conflict). Moving later wasn't an option (Northwestern's big multi-meet the following weekend, then Thanksgiving). Moving earlier there was the Temple Open (which couldn't be moved due to other events at Temple), then a home football game (and all the full hotels that entails), so it had to shift 3 weeks earlier than scheduled (and originally announced).

Array went and wasn't thrilled with how wf was run. the fact that we had fourty some odd people and the cut to the 2nd round of pools went down to 24 rather than 36 was not awesome. other than that, it was wonderful as always. excited to watch the guys tomorrow. see some of ya there "I have an excellent idea! Array Same with w. sabre, only 2 pools, but you know it kind of makes sense, why run an entire round of pools just to cut like the bottom 7 people?
Anyway i'll be fencing tomorrow, i'm sure you'll see me around. -

Array And i'm home.
I don't remember that much from the mens foil results, I believe the winner was a polish guy, last name starts with a J, I'm sure the foilists know who i'm talking about. Ellis was top 4 also and that's all I remember.
As for sabre:
1. Hagamen
2. Momselidze
3. Boghicev
4. Ghattas
5-8: Paul, Reblewski, Stearns, Igoe
I believe i finished 14th...
We left before the epee top 8 was done, but from what I saw:
1-4: Solomon, Urman, etc
5-8: Henderson, Sherrill, etc Similar Threads -
