Does anyone else have their browser freeze up when they open the Fencing News forum?

nope it's just your inadequacy that's causing the problems.

    seriously, try Firefox, it rocks.

It could be the pictures. Java script often freezes or crashes Web TV.

Maybe the website can not take it (you) anymore. Over 10,000 posts.

How about a little more information:

Is it only the browser that locks?
    Which browser?
    Which operating system?
    Any error messages?
Have you tried looking at this website without any other websites running (the answer I hope is yes - why would you look at anything else on the web)?
Have you swept your PC for virii and spyware?

Only the browser, yes. It's IE6, on Windows NT. No error messages, everything just locks up. And I have no other windows open---I just click the link to that forum, it opens up, and then freezes there. No button will function thereafter. This doesn't happen in any of the other fora, and since that one is new I thought there might be a bug.

    Symantec, Spybot S & D, Ad-Aware, all behind a firewall.

It may well be the browser, as the last time IT "remediated" this computer they did something to make the browser act a little wonky. But since this doesn't happen anywhere EXCEPT the Fencing News forum...
