Sad times we live in. I would suggest that apes or dolphins are the smartest of animals, but not a minute would pass and some wretched evilutionist will say, "we come from them!"

I think they also are call Saber fencers, , evolving into foil fencers, and finally realizing EPEE is the "true" weapon.

To prove evoulution in the manner that you speak would probally take a couple thousand years or more. Evolution takes a couple steps foreward and one step back with several species in existance. Eventually the co-living species will dominate the other and come to the top on the food chain. The tool-using monkey will eventually become a new species with greater abilities, just like Homo Africanus eventually "became" Home Sapiens.

I think they started with "flinging poo" while in the monkey stage before becoming Sabre fencers, but it's hard to tell the difference sometimes
