Jacket, mask, glove, other things difference Is there a difference between the jacket and mask and glove and stuff for foil and for sabre because I want to start sabre but I don't wnat to get all new equipment just a sabre and any other equipment that I wouldn't use for foil. -

Array The jacket, the mask, and the glove (or the manchette if you don't want an all-in-one electric glove) are different for sabre. You can use foil body cords if your connector is the same in your sabre. Equipping for electric sabre is relatively expensive. -

Array What? Peach, did you mean the lame?
The jackets are the same for foil and sabre; you'll need a lame with arms and a nonconductive cuissard to go over the jacket. So are the gloves, but you'll need a lame cuff or manchette. Unless as Peach said you get one with an integral lame cuff. The masks are different, they cannot be painted and have a conductive bib. You'll also need a cord to connect the mask to the lame.
Unless you are only planning to fence nonelectric, of course. -
