Hello All - I've been away a long time..
Greetings from Virginia! My son went to a fencing camp this last summer and has decided he liked it. He's almost finished with his first weekly class and looking pretty good! My wife and I actually met in our inter-mural fencing team in college (20 Years Ago!) My son's interest along with the sounds, sights and smells of the regional kick-off tournament we spectated last month has got my blood up so now I'm creakily trying to get back in the swing of things. Since I've been out so long, I've been interested in the latest changes and reading about the new timings with interest. We watched the men's foil final from Leipzig last night and it was quite educational... "Good bye flick" is fine with me, but I'm not excited about more counter-attacks... I guess we'll see. Anyway... it's good to be back!

Just got in touch with Dark Horse in Fredericksburg, plan to start before end of the month (have to clear a little calendar space)but it will be a while before I'm ready to come out and play in a tournament...
