I like Samurai Champloo, and ONLY Samurai Champloo.

To be honest, I haven't seen most of the other shows you watch, and I don't see SC too much because it's on late and inconsistently. I just like it because it doesn't have werid stuff in it. Like people that are half animals and magic.

I just watched the movie Escaflowne...it was decent. But it broke both my anime rules.

I can't get into it - every show I see has to do with someone stealing someone else's "energy" or something like that.

Granted, I've only seen five minutes here, the end of something there... but nah, doesn't interest me in the least.

Exactly.

Samurai champloo is different, from what I've seen...it's more realistic (well, kind of realistic) samurai stuff. I especially like the swordfights, those are awesome.

come now! Samurai Champloo(what do ya think of the opening song?)is on every saturday at 12:30 on Adult Swim, i agree there are some seriously cool swordfights there but you should also look at Cowboy Bebop, it is mega cool! TRH Escaflowne is not about "someone stealing someone else's "energy"..." exactly, However i see your point, it is a kick@$$ movie anyway.

I prefer realistic animes, or rather more serious ones. I'm a big fan of Ghost in the Shell (1 & 2), Last Exile, Ninja Scroll, hm, Princess Mononoke was good, I have Grave of the Fireflies sitting on my desk and I still haven't watched it. But that kind of stuff.

I will never understand why some people find cartoons having sex exciting.

I'll try to sometime.

12:30 is pretty hard for me to get to, especially if I have to go to a fencing tournament the next day. And the last couple weeks, they've been showing movies instead.

Mr. Epee, I agree with you completely. I'd like to add to that, saying that drawing your own porn is a sign you've hit rock bottom.

Cowboy bebop is cool and Trigun was interesting in an oddly childish way. Aside from those I'm not into a lot of the anime on adult swim. A lot of people swear that FLCL is the greatest anime of all time, but I say it blows goats. Berserk and Hellsing are good, but you probably won't see those on TV anywhere. I tend to go for the more violent stuff.

The whole sex thing in anime is disturbing. I saw something called La Blue Girl and that was just freakish. I wouldn't even venture to guess at the psychologoical problems that belong to the people that came up with that. Violence, however, is A-OK. Gotta love killing.

I think consensual sex is much healthier than violence.

What's so much better about watching cartoons kill each other?

Hmmmm...I can't very well say i've seen sex in anime(i've heard of quite alot of it though) but it,in my opinion, is not a bad thing as long as it is done with respect to both parties and without threat of violence. HOWEVER i certianly agree with you mrbiggs drawing your own porn is exeptionaly pathetic! And i happen to think FLCL is great because it is so wacko, but greatest anime of all time is going overboard!

Cowboy Bebop is an awesome anime. I have the Perfect Sessions boxed set (though its not exactly perfect. They've edited a few scenes, and it seemed kinda unneccesary). Another favorite of mine is Rourouni Kenshin. Samurai Champloo is a good one, though I haven't seen much of it.

You know Mr Biggs, might it be that he switched to ''troll'' mode because - he DOES draw his own porn...?????
