I also find it ironic that our mascot is the owl while our brother school has the black squirrel... explains a lot in our bi-college relationship. |
ROFL! Hawks and squirrels...haha!
I have a ton of squirrels on campus as well! I hate it when they eye me while I eat and walk. Evil beady lil eyes. We have brown, grey, black ones...darn vicious things...I remember this incident that happened years back (it gets passed down to 1st year students as a reminder to be cautious when dealing with squirrels), where this guy got a nasty, mean squirrel run up to his leg and bite him lol...he wore shorts so um, ouch?

apparently, he was tormenting it, probably throwing things at it or chasing it...
Another squirrel incident that happened to a friend of mine who lives on campus...she opened her window (she lived on the 2nd or 3rd floor of her dorm) because her room was stuffy and headed to class...bad idea. Somehow a squirrel jumped in her room and ripped through the place like a tornado. She came back and saw *the* squirrel and had to chase it out...this happened on a number of occasions. Same squirrel. Same outcome. Apparently, the squirrel got in her room through gutter/pipes or whatever that stuck out of the building. The squirrel somehow managed to jump on the gutters leading to her room lol...damn squirrels
