I know there isn't much over here, but anyone have any requests from the US? About the only things we have that NC is known for are Lance Crackers and Moravian Cookies.
I'll put some choccy in with the PG tips then! Got a nasty feeling mint Wispas were limited edition but I'll have a look.

Sweet offer but I have never been to the US so I don't know what you have that is yummy.

We have Ribena in Canada, so I suspect it is in the US as well.... check the juice aisle. It comes in a concentrate.

I know - was trying to work out what the fizzy drink is that fencergal likes that she remembers from here in the UK.

I had a carton of Ribena with my lunch after this discussion!!

I think that's it! I remember it came in orange too (mandarin or something), but the black current was quite nicer.

Mint whispa was limited edition? Noooooo! How about whispagold? they were yummy too......I didn't try too terribly many flavors, as I was a poor college student while I was travelling over there, but I'll trust your judgement.

I must think of something NC to send in order to return the favor. Our beer doesn't even compare, so I think that's definitely out. Hmmmmm.....

I already thought about Lance Crackers.....but they aren't that great. Moravian cookies, but if you don't like ginger spice, they aren't great either. Carolina Blonde, but no one in the UK will be seen with that. BBQ would work, but how to ship it? A NASCAR would be a little pricey......

I grew up near Philly, which is the land of Tastycakes. They are awesome! Maybe I could ship a tastycare package....

What is a NASCAR? Sounds like some sort of spaceship.
I do like ginger.
What is a Slim Jim? Or a texas pete? When i was very small there was a children's cartoon called SuperTed about a sort of cross between superman and yes, a teddy bear, and his arch nemesis was Texas Pete. So it makes me think of a cartoon cowboy with a big stubbly chin...

NASCAR is basically a bunch of cars racing in a circle for many hours at a time. They call it a sport. Most people watch it for the crashes. (sick, I know)

I will try to get hold of some goo Moravian cookies for you.

Slim Jim is a beef jerky stick like thing. Yuck, IMHO. Texas Pete is a very hot sauce....much like Tobasco. You DO have Tobasco, right?
