Unfortunately, the only handles I know of that are "smaller" than normal sized
ones are Orthapedic (Pistol) grips. Most French grips come in only one size.
So, I don't think you're going to find too many that are sized for children (at
least not without doing some work yourself).

As for the guards, you can definitely find child-sized guards (85mm) through
Triplette. I'm not sure if anyone else sells them, but I definitely know that
Triplette does. They are the same cost as the normal-sized ones though.

I know that a lot of places carry the 100mm guards. In working
on some foils that were donated to our club, I've noticed that a lot
of the older weapons had smaller diameter grips. They tend to be
as long or longer than the newer french grips, but could be cut down.

So if the diameter of the grips are a problem, then try asking for
donations of old grips and wrapping them with thin sports wrap.

What problem are you having working in pronation? What kind of grip are
    you currently using?

    You can get different pommels.

I'm not sure how they would be a hindrance, though, if you have them in the
correct position for a pronated thrust. Since they are not against your
wrist, they are pretty much out of the way.

I wouldn't say Classical Fencing has an emphasis on supinated actions per
se. Certainly they are useful for certain things- but so are pronated
actions. Just not the same things.

The supinated guards are generally the ones most people learn first, for a
variety of reasons, but classical fencing doesn't end there.

Re: [CFML] Source for children's foils

If the pommel is getting in your way then it sounds like you're doing
something wrong. In tierce and seconde the pommel should be pointing
somewhat out to the side and shouldn't interfere with your extended
    arm or hand.

Re: [CFML] Source for children's foils

Are the problems occuring while working in pronation, or during
    transitions between supination and pronation?
