Array What's wrong with it being a museum?
I should add; I thought that the Hagie Sophia was a mosque and had been for half a millenia? Or am I thinking of a different church?

Array No you do not thing for different church,Hagia Sophia was mosque for five hundrents years after the fall.
If you are Christian, you will understand what the academisians and the Greeks means with this article and for the votes.
Now about the museum, you must know that, in this 'museum' there was hundrent icons, golden artifacts, papyrs, holy books e.t.c. and the authorised persons of the museum has all of thinks in an apothecary and rot for many years. A Turk journalist from Constantinoupole find this matter and he wrote an article about this serius matter. And now I ask which museum keep all this to rot in an forgotten crypt? The purpose of tactic is to conquer the enemy with proper war movements and actions.

Ok, I'm struggling to read that but I understand that English is not your first language. So let me paraphrase what you have written: Originally Posted by paraphrased Yes the Hagia Sophia was a mosque for 500 years.

About the museum; you must know that, in this museum, there are many hundreds of items and the curator thinks that they are not cared for properly.
What is your opinion? Is this correct?
I am not tryig to be picky or funny; I just want to be sure I understand what you mean before I answer myself,

Array Hrm... Why not do what king Solomon would do? (at least I think I'm thinking of the right guy. Its been awhile since I bade farewell to bible study in that catholic highschool I flunked out of). Have Hagia Sophia reinstated as a church, but add a musem on the same grounds. That way people will have a place of worship and a worthy monument to god, and there would still be a museum in which academics and tourists could learn about history. The leaders of the church and the museum staff could colaborate on taking care of the religious/historical icons and artifacts, that way nothing would fall to disrepair. Its a thought anyways. -
