Array The only fencing video game I ever recall seeing is one of the events in "Track & Field II" for the original Nintnedo Entertainment Sytem. You only get foil, and it's pretty basic (you can advance, retreat, parry, and lunge.) If you don't have an NES, you might be able to download the game and an NES emulator from somewhere on the web. Array Leon Paul has a fencing game. It has a crippled trial version I believe. http://www.leonpaul.com/download/games.htm "Since when does being a patriot in America mean shutting your mouth?"

I have tried to find both my version as well as an emulator version of this one, and I have had no success whatsoever.
EDIT: However blasphemous this statement might be, at the time I thought fencing must suck since I mor or less hated the event on that game. Although in my defense I was five when it was released.
EDIT EDIT: I have since located this game and upon close inspection I find that it can't be foil it has to be epee. It has mask shots, however they only use prime parries so eh. Also if you just hold down on the d-pad and alternate between parry/thrust you cannot lose. The one parry stops every attack and lowline attacks (D+Thrust) beat both high and middle attacks. It may take a little bit but eventually you will beat the other loser 5-0.

Array Heh... what about the swordfighting in the original Pirates! game for the C64... or the fencing event in Summer Games II by Epyx? There used to be a good C64 emulator out there... C64S, I think it was called... Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -

Sid Meier also rereleased it last year on pc; pick up a copy if you have 30 bucks. It's a fun game, and very easy to pick up.
