fie foil nlades what is the best fie foil blades?? -
.....the ones I sell for $300 each.
They may look like beat up BF blades but I hand select and then prepare them individually. The price merely reflects the effort I put into this process and hardly provides a cent of profit.
Or you could try doing a search. -

Array Jesus, keith, what do you do? Cover them with gold??
FIE blades are available from just about any vendor. Look in the product reviews section and you'll find them. They run about $70 and up. -

Array Depends on personal perference. Do you want it to be light? soft? Do you have a budget? Blah blah blah blahhh...
Running a search on FIE foil blades should give you some good old threads on the same topic.
I personally love my Prieur FIE. Light as feathers. A synonym is a word you use when you can't spell the word you first thought of. -

Array The best FIE foil blade FOR ME isn't. I am very partial to the non-FIE Leon Paul epee's. They are very light and have outlasted every FIE blade I have ever owned. If all that were not enough they are a fair bit cheaper than any FIE blade.
If you want the most durable FIE blade I would suggest either the FIE version of the LP or the Vniti. The vniti's are pretty much indestructible also. The catch is that both the LP and the Vniti have very different but unique feels to them that are not for everyone. The LP is very light so that takes some getting used to. The Vniti is a bit on the heavy side and tends to flex the entire length of the blade which can be very good once you learn to use it, but depending on your style it can mean that your tip wiggles around a bit on very hard beats and takes.
For many the best blade for feel is the BF FIE. This is the top of the line blade sold by Uhlmann/allstar, Triplette, PBT, ect. It is a great blade that does everything well. The downside is that they cost a small fortune and for many do not last overly long making them a somewhat dubious investment.
I am a fan of the Prieur FIE blades. They have a similar feel/balance point of the BF blades, are almost as light as and LP blade and last about as long as a BF, except they cost a lot less. You can get them wired for around $85.00. These are the blades I suggest to my fencers if they don't like the LP or Vniti for some reason. StM makes and okay FIE blade. It is almost a heavy as the Vniti, does not feel as well as the BF and does not last anywhere near as long as the Vniti or LP. Plus it is as much or more than the Prieur. The only thing it really has going for it is that it comes in cool colors which does not mean very much for me but some people get all gooey over them.
So there you are, the most common FIE blade pluses and minus based entirely on my own experience as an armourer/coach/fencer/retailer. Also be sure to check out the equipment reviews section. Hope that was some help. Just another lost soul saved by the (hit) First Church of EPEE!

Array After this weekend I learned about the "MC FIE Foils." MC being the world known Mr. Chen. They run either 62 or 65 depending on which u buy, and from what he says, they have "The quality of a BF, and the life of a Vniti." Sounds amazings, if it wasnt made in china. But i could be wrong.
