| I just recently read an article about animals introduced to living spaces they never used to live in and these species having a tremendous influence on the entire nature environment.
The Florida Everglades are one of the few nature areas that houses quite a few animal kinds that never used to live there. They assume that the python is one of the species that was set free by mankind who imported the animal from a earlier trip abroad and couldn't handle the size of the animal anymore at their home.
Quite crazy if afterwards you read that an animal like this influences the entire food chain of the animals in the Everglades.

| That is so horribly awful! What a scene, what a picture. Ugh. Ugh.
I could have very happily lived my life never having to think about snakes exploding because they ate too much! But to have to see it too!? Ugh! |

| As I mentioned on my croc thread, Anacondas regularly take caimans, but caimans tend to be small as far as crocodilians go (like the gator that got partially eaten).
