Leon Auriol Bobblehead Dolls!

A couple weeks ago, we held the 24th Annual Leon Auriol Open here in Seattle. Attendance was great, drawing fencers from all over the Pacific Northwest, as well as some from as far away as Alaska, Arizona, and Nevada.

This year, we awarded the top 8 finishers in each even a special prize... we had custom bobblehead dolls made in Maitre Auriol's likeness! (With his approval, of course!) The dolls were well received by everyone who saw them and are a truly unique collectible.

We still have dolls available and are now making them available to the general fencing community. Each doll sells for $22.50, which includes shipping within the US. These are high-quality bobbleheads, not the cheap plastic ones you get at the ballpark! See the attached photo...

All proceeds from the sale of the dolls will go towards supporting fencing in the Western Washington Division, especially our youth, cadet, and junior programs.

If you are interested in purchasing a doll, please email chair [at] wwdfencing.org or PM me here on Fencing.Net.

Thanks!

That's a neat prize. Much better than the standard generic fencing medal.

As a proud owner of a new Leon Auriol doll, I can say that it is the coolest prize I've ever won. Actually, the pair of them flanking the bookcase looks quite nice

The latest rumor is that the bobbleheads will be upgradable with a USB port that makes them FRED and FT compatible. Tip the bobblehead, and Maitre Auriol speaks your tournament results! Amazing!
