Just wanted to say "Hi!" from South Dakota.

Hello. I just signed up for a fencing club out here in South Dakota (No, we dont still live in sod houses and teepees ). I have been wanting to start fencing for a few years, but I havent had the time, nor the means to pay for it. I am sixteen, hope I'm not too old or young to start. So yeah! Just saying howdy!

Heh, I'm 20, and I started a year and a half ago. I don't think you're too old at all. Welcome.

I started fencing at 42--there is no such thing as too old...
Good luck and many years of good fencing.

    Welcome Farm-boy,

But you do understand that when we say fencing, we are talking about sword-fighting?

    J/K - enjoy your experience.
    Take your time. Read carefully.

...you mean...I'm not going to be patching the fences where the cattle stampeded?! *sigh* Well, I guess since I already signed up I'll give it a shot.

    Hehe, thanks.
