    O.o hoo boy, here we go!!

    Hi! I'm new, of course...and I start Basic Foil tomorrow! I'm very excited and I hope I can make some friends here as well.

    Welcome to the sport. I hope you stick with it. If your training is anything like mine, you'll start to reconsider within the second week or so. Just keep at it, its definetly worth it.

    Wow!! thanks guys...wonderful support here. I had my first Foil lesson last night....*groan* ouchie. I'm hooked, tho. Good luck to fencergal on Sabre...I know it will be a while before I get THERE *bows in awe*

    Personally, I prefer a warm shower, but submergence in warm liquid does have its advantages.

    Also, remember to stretch out before and after each practice; it will help your short and long term performance as well as cutting down on pain afterwards.
