| Welcome to the sport. I hope you stick with it. If your training is anything like mine, you'll start to reconsider within the second week or so.  Just keep at it, its definetly worth it.

| Wow!! thanks guys...wonderful support here. I had my first Foil lesson last night....*groan* ouchie. I'm hooked, tho. Good luck to fencergal on Sabre...I know it will be a while before I get THERE *bows in awe* |

| Also, remember to stretch out before and after each practice; it will help your short and long term performance as well as cutting down on pain afterwards.
