Fencing tournament at CNN center in Atlanta

ATTENTION: Georgia Division Members
You don’t want to miss this year’s Georgia State Games! In addition to a great competition, we’ve got a terrific venue. We will be in the atrium of the CNN Center (otherwise known as the food court) … in full view of the public, and as background for “Talk Back Live” on Friday, July 20th. What a great advertisement for the sport!

The most exciting part, however, is the fact that we will have Olympic team members, Keeth and Erinn Smart, visiting us on Saturday. To honor their achievements, Jocks & Jills Sports Grill in the CNN Center is providing a reception and autograph session for them Saturday, July 21st, from 6:00pm (or the end of competition) to 7:30pm. Free hors’ d’oeuvres and soft drinks for all that attend. Don’t miss an opportunity to meet an Olympian up close & personal.

CLUBS: There will be a “Georgia Division-USFA” table right next to the media table for you to put information about your club. Please bring plenty of flyers.

As we all know, parking in downtown Atlanta is expensive. We encourage everyone to take advantage of MARTA. A MARTA station is right next door to CNN Center – very easy access.

We look forward to seeing you all there, July 20th through the 22nd!

What about some recognition for the 2 world championship team members (Women's Sabre) that live and train in the state of Georgia?

wow, sounds like it's going to be a great event. Is there gonna be any t.v. time on the tournament maybe? Or is that hoping for too much?
