| Greetings My name is David. I'm a recreational foil fencer, though I enjoy saber as well. I trained for several years at BCAF in the 1990s. I lean towards the "Classical" approach. I've also trained in Filipino stickfighting and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Certainly, it's on my "must obtain soon" list.
The time when Bartitsu was founded was a fascinating time for martial arts and combat sports in general--bare-knuckle boxing transitioning into the glove form, savate, catch-as-catch-can wrestling competing with judo/jujutsu, etc.
And, of course, fencing...
