Greetings

My name is David. I'm a recreational foil fencer, though I enjoy saber as well. I trained for several years at BCAF in the 1990s. I lean towards the "Classical" approach. I've also trained in Filipino stickfighting and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Fear not--I personally subscribe to the saying, "Don't Mess With Texas".

Chris
Haven't had a chance to check it out, but Tony gave everyone the heads up on its release on SFI--he knows what he's talking about, so I figure it's gotta be good.

Certainly, it's on my "must obtain soon" list.

The time when Bartitsu was founded was a fascinating time for martial arts and combat sports in general--bare-knuckle boxing transitioning into the glove form, savate, catch-as-catch-can wrestling competing with judo/jujutsu, etc.

And, of course, fencing...
