| Perhaps it could be likened to having separate men's and women's events at fencing tournaments?

Depressing and not at all saucy, sorry.
Also not really related to fencing, except that she might now not join fencing club at the end of rugby season like she said she would. oh h***.

But it's best not to dwell on such things, right? It didn't work out, and I can either waste time feeling sorry for myself, or I can just get out, live, and take the next opprotunity that presents itself.

I once fixed a busted cassette player and a TV when I was feeling down after a fight with my best friend. I eventually patched things up with her, but the fixes on that cassette deck didn't last.

Get yourself a guy and you'll be set! At least we're predictable. Horribly, consistantly, agonizingly predictable. Maybe you can pick through the new fencers that join along the way, like the rest of us do! Quote: |

Well, if it makes you guys feel better, the hot physiotherapist chick from my Monday night Spanish class who I've never mentioned but was destined to marry apparently decided that Spanish sucks. Makes it hard to marry her when she was only there once and I never got her name or number. And I think she was stoned. Now I need to find another hot physiotherapist. My knee is starting to hurt and the physiotherapy bills aren't going to pay themselves. Stupid Republicans and their no insurance grumble grumble. |

I like not dealing with that kind of tension when I go to practice. No squabbling exes, no mushy couples. Just friends, and fencing. I enjoy socializing, but its still practice and Im not there to pay attention to social dynamics. Im there to train so I can compete at a high level.
On the other hand, I dont think that dating and unfocused practice necessarily go hand in hand. I know plenty of folks capable of leaving coupleness or grudges at the door and having a solid workout despite romantic involvement (or lack thereof ). Even so, I still prefer the way things are at my club | muhahahahaha |

| Hey...let him have his space Jack. It was poignant.
Now I'm beginning to think dating among club members is not such a good idea. (Note: I broke up with my el fencer boyfriend a few weeks ago. Not pretty) |
