Whats the actual rule about putting a sponsorship patch on my uniform? Say if it said "geico" or whatever have you. The publicity code is, erm, hazy at best.

i have seen german national team fencers with mercedes patches on there back sleaves, and i have seen us fencers with fencing supply company patches on there sleves also

Dude,

You are about to get a butt-load of responses - that are nitt-picky and absolutely meaningless.

I'm going to pre-empt them by saying... if you are lucky enough to get a sponsorship, wear it large and wear it proud. Nothing bad will happen to you...

You're still young enough that you may have NCAA aspirations, but I'm not even sure that's a big deal. I see enough NCAA violations at most NAC's to fill a book...
