Edinburgh CdN. 11-12 March 2006

I know it's quite a while away but the details for Edinburgh's Coupe Du Nord are available. Unlike last year there will be no rugby going on in Edinburgh and so Accomodation will be easier to organise. If people are stuck then feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do to help. I'm just providing an early heads up so that people can organise themselves if they are coming from overseas.

It's march next year. Entry form can be found if you go to the following link:

Edinburgh Coupe Du Nord

If you've got any questions get in touch and I'll find out from the organisers.

There are a couple of typos on the entry form. It'll be corrected soon [if not already]. Go by the FIE or BF calendar or even the main tournament site - the dates are correct there - everything else is ok (re fees and so on).

Hmm... Do I need FIE foil blades? Though, by that time I might have them. Maybe.... maybe. All depends.

Doesn't look like it. It appears that FIE blades are only needed for epee (though I suppose the wording could be clearer).

ROLL UP ROLL UP get yer entries in!

Last call for the Edinburgh CdN will be next week. Only the Epee and Sabre is being run as an FIE event. You WILL need stripes on your kit (sigh must get that sewing kit out).

There is a function on the Saturday night. A venue is already reserved and food is being looked into. It will be a ceilidh as normal.

I should have a little more information by Tuesday next week.

Get yer entries in. If you are from the UK there will be a late entry fee of £25. If you are from overseas this does not apply. Additionally, if you have submitted your entry in anything other than GBP then your cheque will not be cashed and you will be asked to pay on the day. It seems that there has been confusion on this point.

There will be a Ceilidh on the Saturday. Details to follow. There will be a finger buffet. Cost £10.
