    I read these regularly:
    The Avatar
    Porridge Cooling Darkly
    Deep
The first two are done by a guy who I went to school with. Originally they ridiculous, hilarious and occasionally terrible. Now he's started on a kinda dark, mysterious story which is very different but still very good. The artwork is pretty good too, and in particular you should check out his flash animation for the song Frontier Psychiatrist he did as a celebratory thing.

I also enjoy PBF, Cyanide and Happiness and Homestar Runner (which counts as a webcomic right?). I read Dilbert online too.

    I edited my original post.

My favorite part about the comic is actually the fact that it takes a long time to get some of them. Like it took me 6 months to understand "An End to Gopher Trouble"

    What's the funny here?

Yes, I might actually be humor-dense.

Not really laughter funny, more like dead baby joke funny.

It's funny because the guy's a scorpion and he accidentally killed his friend and now he's sad. The comic deals with the complex issues of being a poisonous animal.

Ahhh I'd have to say it's not necessarily the complexity of the joke, but partly the artwork! I had no idea that the blob was a scorpion. Nor did I actually know that touching a scorpion was enough to kill a pal!

But Biggs, I agree with you. Some of them are really funny. I like the naughty ones too!

This thread reminded me of Red vs. Blue. Even though I never played HALO, it was still pretty good.

I think the name 'Scorpy' might have been a clue I also don't know how biologically accurate the comic was. I would say though that the artwork is a major part of PBF's appeal. It's usually very good, the transformers one is an exception that immediately jumps to mind. But even that one conveys the 'joke' well.

To be honest, I had to have the one you linked to explained to me as well.

Not anymore than would Rokie make me think the dead one's a racoon!
Rockie/Rocky maybe, but Rokie rhymes with Jokie and... well, perhaps I am trying to take them too serious.

I did however, find the ones I liked, very funny.
