I know they've been working on this for some time and it is a significant overhaul of the site; I worked with them on selecting fencing photos to use in various areas of it.

I saw early versions of it in Linz that they were reviewing and finalizing before finalizing the design. I have not seen anything since that time. The FIE goal was to get it up-and-running by the World Championships, which it looks like they may achieve.

The new FIE web site is now live. Much of the informational infrastructure and navigation is the same, but it's been completely reskinned. It's a little easier to select your language (English, French, or Spanish).

There's also a new special edition of Escrime that discusses the FIE's position on the Olympics and gives a number of statistics on fencing and the Games. It's downloadable in PDF form at http://www.fie.ch/Communication/Magazines.aspx.

They've also added some search tools (a site-specific Google search engine), along with recent results that can be accessed from the home page.
