New Fencing Club Opens In Georgia!

The newest fencing club is opening in Georgia !!!! The North Georgia Fencing Center will be opening at it's new facility in Suwanee Georgia, located 40 minutes north of Atlanta in November. The new facility lead by fencing coach Gary Di Maggio will have 10.000 square feet of space which will include 6 aluminum fencing pistes custom designed by Mr. Di Maggio, Favero Arm 5 scoring machines 2 practice rubber pistes, spectator viewing area, a fencing store with a complete line of equipment and apparal, parent lounge, kids and teens game room. and plenty of room for expansion. mr. Di Maggio fenced in high school where he was rated in all 3 weapons and in addition to his coaching, also competes and has re-gained 2 of his 3 ratings! ( not as high as they where before but in time) Beginner classes are ongoing every 6 weeks as well as intermediate and advanced classes Mr. Di Maggio also coaches 3 high school fencing teams in Gwinnett County and also teaches at various locations. "We are really excited about the new club. It's a dream come true for myself and my students". N.G.F.C. will also host tournaments throughout the year and will also be hosting a fencing camp during spring break featuring fencing Master and Professor Marek Stepien, "92 Polish Olympic Epee Team member and finalists in 4 World Championships.
