Well, where I live we say "8 March 1970" but when writing dates you always start with the highest 'unit' of numbers; ie. YY.MM.DD.


I'm glad I could bring a little confusion to your minds, heh!

yy.mm.dd is extremely database friendly...

It makes searches much easier, because records are automatically grouped by their year, month, and then date.

It keeps records from being sorted like:

12.01.00
12.01.01
12.01.02
12.01.03
12.02.00
12.02.01
12.02.02
12.02.03
etc...

I use this format in spreadsheets whenever possible.

what spreadsheet do you use? i use several, and they all recognize dates and sort them properly no matter which way you enter them. perhaps it's time for you to upgrade.

So what are you suggesting? You toss out these smart-a$$ remarks, but never elaborate on your opinion. Was it an inside job? Something similar to the staged lunar landing perhaps? A Karl Rove production perhaps?

The fire, fueled by nearly a full load of 300,000 lbs of jet fuel burned until 1 pm, before the firefighters were able to get into those offices. Jet fuel burns at a high enough temperature it will melt aluminum and soften steel (which is why the towers fell after a short period of time). Some of the parts of the airplane, such as the engines penetrated into the 3rd ring of buildings in the Pentagon, leaving huge (12' diameter) holes through the structure.
