Hey Everyone!
I'm new to this forum so I thought i'd better introduce myself!
My name is Helen and I am 16 years old. I have been fencing for 5 years now and started when I entered secondary school when I found out they had a club. My dad used to fence too. I live in Guernsey, Channel Islands, U.K. and my main weapons are foil and epee. My dad's best weapons were alse these but mainly epee.
I have been a member of leon paul's fencing forum for a couple of years after hearing about it from a friend who also fences. I decided to join this forum because I had heard about it from various members on fencing forum. They didn't exactly refer me but I did hear about this site from them.
I enter local competitions but don't really have the opportunity to go abroad to fence although I did go to the British Youth Championships at the start of this year and will be going next yr too. I also hope to go to the Public Schools championships and the Plymouth Open next yr too.
I belong to various forums including: fencingforum.com, fencing.net now, mysportsiteforum.co.uk and no1intheworld.com.
I am in the sixth form at a public school studying Psychology, Biology, Critical Thinking, French and R.S. for my A-S levels and I want to be either a marine Biologist or in the Police/criminology/forensics area.
