And not just Europeans...which is why it got coverage here in the US as well. There's a substantial constituency for any conceivable opportunity to deride The Great Enemy. ( A constituency into which many members of the Fourth Estate fall themselves, so there's another motive ).

Bush 'caught short' at UN summit
And, he is said to have turned to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for advice.

"I think I may need a bathroom break? Is this possible?" a Reuters news agency photographer caught him writing in a note to Ms Rice.
Wonder how Condi felt about giving advice on such matters. Furthermore - I wonder why he wrote that first question mark. Would he not be certain on that point?

Is there anything sillier than scrying people's personalities from their handwriting?

(And yet it's a common part of the hiring process in several european countries. So in this day of word processors, handwritten writing samples are regularly required as part of job applications there. Bizarre.)

I mean, my handwriting purports to show that I'm a homicidal pope-abusing thieving porn star. And I haven't abused a single pope, ever.

hate to tell you it's not just Europe where they do strange things like this - you may want to start working on your joined up handwritting.

Now go compare that handwriting to the Reuter's picture....

The major from a big town over here did almost that.

However, he chose the flower pot at the dance floor on a big cruise boat. Those cruises are known for carrying a lot of drunk people, but he claims to have been sober. Not sure whether that will help his case, but with the strong teetotaler movement over here - maybe.

Now that's irony. You meant it as a smart-*** remark, but it's actually true, or have you forgotten about:
