80% promotion for Div II/III/Vet @ US nationals

Report from my division chairman is that the USFA adopted the procedure to only promote 80% of the field from pools to DEs in Div II/III and Vets at US Summer Nationals.

Confirm? Deny? Discuss?

Oiuyt has provided confirmation that the motion has indeed passed. Another victory for the position that the bureaucratic needs of the USFA Bout Committees and officials outweigh those of the fencers they are supposed to serve.

We actually have another thread (titled the same as this one) with additional comments (duplicate threads were generated originally). Let's keep comments there and let this one die.
