Sounds like something the LOC could organize. Contact the local chapter of the ARC and see if they're interested in running something. Most convention centers have plenty of meeting rooms available. Personally, I'd love to see lots of other, related, but non-fencing, activities going on at Summer Nationals. CPR classes, armoring classes, referee clinics, business of fencing discussions, discussions of veterans fencing, etc., etc. (many of these do happen some, if not every, year).

My club offered our coaches a (mandatory) CPR/First Aid class - and had the added bonus of several folks discovering the class by looking for CPR in Philadelphia. It became a very small fundraiser! Score!
