| Is this the part where someone tells Inq to be quiet because he's scaring the kids? |

| Isn't it odd how a lull in the conversation will occur even in a large group of people. I was once told that the most likely times for a lull to occur are 20 minutes after the hour and 20 minutes before the hour.
Of course, when f.net is down it makes for a reeeeaaaalllllyyyy long lull.

| I believe I heard them at a cocktail party from a person that was trying to end a lull in the conversation. Have you ever noticed how much more adept women are at starting conversations with people they don't know than men are?

| I think it really depends on the person. My dad, for instance, will start a conversation with anyone, at any time or any place. He's been known to do this in places like airplanes, where people can not possibly run and hide.
Last Friday, for instance, we went to pick up a few last minute items from Wal-Mart. My father lives in Florida, and knows not a single soul in North Carolina except my family and me. However, mom and I turn around to find dad in the very busy Wal-Mart, and find him about 50 ft. away, talking merrily with two completely random gentlemen.
Me? I rather avoid speaking with any people in Wal-Mart if I can possibly help it. |

| One of my favorite things to do on those very rare occasions when I can get out of Manhattan, is to go to a Wal-Mart or (be still my heart) a Super Target. Unless you've also been cooped up on this strange little island, you have no idea how big a thrill this can be to an otherwise urbane urbanite.

| I never really thought about the fact that metropolitan areas don't have things like Wal-Mart and Super Target. I guess I always just imagined a high-rise Wal-Mart or something like that.

| Haha, that reminds me of halloween, when my friend and I make incredible animatronic (that's probably spelled wrong) scary set-ups with lights and sound, activated by some cool metal plates placed on the walkway. |

| Hey, I already did that joke! No fair turning it back on me.
I prefer to carry the mistletoe in my wallet, because, curmudgeon-like, I feel that most people can kiss my a**.

| I wouldn't worry too much about it now, ZZ. It's not in season. Though I still recognise it if any ladies out there are interested.
