| Totally good. I do pretty much the same. Aquafitness, dry sauna, steam, cold water.
Also in Germany they have co-ed nude saunas... For me it was a bit strange for the first, but when I met the local fencers.....
As far as I know, sauna can mean both in Finnish as well as in Hungarian. |

(And Nusy, 'sauna' is a finnish word although adopted by a lot of languages.)

| Generally, the saunas that I've been are dry, until someone throws a ladle or two of water (usually scented with pine oil) onto the stones--then you have this blast of damp heat (the extra humidity makes the apparent temperature go WAY up) and some sadist stands up with his towel (for some reason, it is always a guy) and whips it around, so everyone gets the full blast furnace effect. Then the air dries out really quickly and eventually someone dumps another ladle or two of water on the stones.
Saunas, because they are basically dry, can be a lot hotter than a steam room--I've been in saunas that were approaching 170 degrees Fahrenheit--there is actually a competition where people see how long they can last in sauna that is 110 degrees Celsius--or about 240 degrees Fahrenheit--the record is almost seventeen minutes. I think the maximum temperature in a steamroom is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 degrees Celsius, or about 140 degrees Fahrenheit--much more and you'd end up like a lobster in a pot.
After that dissertation, I'm going back to sauna--I made some very nice snow angels, ZZ.

| I know, but not all languages use it to both, as Finns (and we) do. |

Sometimes more. Why, is it a lot? |

| Is it only me, or does the mere thought of hot, steamy weather put a real damper on any amorous plans? I'd rather just sit here, sip something with a slice of pineapple in it, and fan myself, dahling. Now, cold weather, on the other hand... THAT'S where the fun is!

Hot weather = more skin and fewer clothes to take off.
Cold weather = more imagination and more clothes to take off.
If it's too hot, take a cold shower and point a fan at the bed.
If it's too cold, close the damned window, turn up the heat, get under the covers.
Thunderstorms and full moons groove any time.
Does anyone else think it would be really cool to have a year-round sleeping porch?
