Ha. Well, that's what I get for quick posts on my way out the door! And I'll even leave it unedited as proof you caught me!

What are your thoughts on mead? Yummy sweet awesomeness, or vile syrupy drink?

Yummy awesomeness. If it is syrupy, you are probably attempting to make a desert wine. I've probably made 75 gallons of various sorts of mead, only one was syrupy, and that one on purpose.

(Sudden thought: I have never found a commercial mead worth drinking.)

Ugh, I hate desert wine, it's far too dry.

Any wine in a desert is refreshing, if you ask me

Fortunately this is a cocktail party. We are allowed to make entertaining mistakes.

Sure. It is red because it has a very small amount of roasted barley in the recipe which gives it a red color. I used to brew beer too.

That kind of red beer is good.

I was referring to beer and clamato juice.

Yuck.. How about Steamed Clams, Sliced Tomatoes, and some Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA instead?

Seems a fitting thing for the Cocktail thread. I'll just leave this here...
