| I just got back from fencing- first time I fenced since May! It wasn't so bad though, since the other people that came are just about as out of practice as I am.... Was nice to have a foil in my hand again. |

| Lucky. I can't wait until I get back to the club. Although I'll have to pick up some new shoes for it, my old ones are a bit... holey.

| I need to do something with my shoes... they're squishing the little toe and rubbing against the heel of my back foot. |

| Hmmm... I have a 40 year old meter with a transmitter recently attached to it.
Does this mean that I get a favorarable reading without having wake up early to let the gasman in?

| Yup... the old style meters often run slow, so you're getting a deal with your utilities. You'll find out by how much when they change the meters out in your neighbourhood and your utilities go up. These words will help ease the pain of paying that first bill.

| So if I'm buying a home, I should check the age of the gas meter. Good to know. Although what I really want is a place with high ceilings. With plenty of room to swing a kendo shinai around.

| Hey guys, I just went to a lecture that had a reception afterwards, and there's a lot of cheese and fruit left over, anyone want some?
*sighs* I miss good cheese. That was one of the best things about being in France. |

| I was in France, the weirdest part was giving bisses (kisses on the cheak) after bouts in stead of shaking hands. I had to wonder if they really wanted to get that close to me when I was that sweaty...
