| LOL... leave it to Swordwench to arrive at a party with the Bare Naked Ladies....
To clarify... Latenight's version is clad in glitter. Sigh! I miss Late. Two things I never thought he would have, a halo and a bride. Now he has both, and we never see him. Life is stranger than fiction.

| The last time I presented a lady with a towel didn't turn out so well. But your results may vary.
I need a drink.

| Jack - never give up... like, I always like receiving soft towels
May I offer you my new fave cocktail (that I invented on Beverages Lab lessons)? 6 cl of pineapple juice, 4 cl of orange juice, 3 cl of Triple Sec shaken, and in the glass a dash of Blue Curacao added. |

| Mmm, definitely sounds like a winner to me.
I should do some Valentine's Day shopping. I'd rather not be late like last year, and it is payday today. Although it's probably too late to put in an order for a dozen roses... Hm.

| You have to put in orders for such? Well, maybe because we don't celebrate Valentine's (at least not commonly), but here it's still pretty easy to buy roses on the day... |

| Meh, it varies. At least there have been a few years where I have been hard pressed to find a decent bunch. *shrugs*
Last year was difficult, though. It took me awhile to find the right gift for a friend of mine. It'll be awhile before I can set foot in a jewelry store without cringing.

| The talk has turned to jewelry. Gentlemen, I suggest we make a run for it before it is too late...

| Or you could suggest some things that a man might want for Valentine's Day- this is the first year I've had a boyfriend for that day. |

| A nice picture that he could carry with him. At least that's what I would want. I could mention otherwise, but the "family friendly" joke has been overdone already.

| G?F? - definitely. We have these "picture cards" here: an adhesive plastic card with some kind of a frame printed on it that you can stick on your picture and it won't break (and fits into a credit card slot). I think that's a pretty good idea.

All they want is for you to like the gift they got you, eat the meal they bought you, and then give them a night of mind-blowing... um... oh look, is that the time?

| I would like the presence of best beloved on Valentines' day--that qualifies as an "actual thing," although it seems rather cold-blooded to define her as such....
