Oops, wrong thread. | Hey - you wandered in here too? Out of curiosity, how would a college student make money in this way? Seems to me they are feeding off the same pot of cash.
Which leads me to the question of how do you think kids fund college education these days? I am sticking money away for my kids but there is no way I am going to come close to funding their college education. |

| They take out student loans, which they will e paying off until they are 50, or until a Democratic administration decides to forgive all their debts.
They sell blood or plasma. They sell drugs. They sell term papers. They work part-time jobs. They do a stint in the military first. They get scholarships.
They pump their kin.

| You know, my first thought when I saw "pump-kin" wasn't nearly so innocent as your definition. In fact, I wondered why it wasn't qualified by some south-of-the-mason-dixon geographical restriction.
But then again, I'm still waiting for the Democrats to forgive student loans.
While I look forward to that, my only hope is to have my kids turn out to be extremely intelligent and interesting, so they'll be eligible for heaps of financial aid and scholarships. So far, it's looking good - they're sharp. But there is no way I'll be able to sock away enough to pay their whole ride by the time they're of age - and we started saving before they were born.

Of course, if I can endow a college with a dorm it helps. I am reading this book IOverachievers - the secret lives of driven kids by Alexandra Robbins. Very frightening what kids will do to get to college. |

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if it isn't swedish then it's probably some foreign fish. Did you plan to talk to it or what..?
