Thank you, Sabreur, my information was wrong. In the US, we hv an age bracket of 40-49 only in the annual Nationals competition, otherwise, most Vet events are mixed age 40 and up.

Is there a World Championships for 30-40 age group?

Agassi did it again coming from 2 sets down to win the next 3 sets.
That was a special match. I don't know how long Agassi will keep playing, but something tells me if he goes out on top this time, he might retire.

Hard to see him winning it, with Federer playing so flawlessly.

Oh, and John Moreau didn't just win a national championship, he b****h-slapped Soren to do it.

No, as there is no World Championship for 40-49. There are for 50-59 and 60+.

Ah, fencing. The only sport where you WANT to get older....

I actually heard a ranked women's foilist say she couldn't wait to get older so that she could be on the national team! Not so many other women want to get to 50 that fast!!

old folks who are new generally suck at fencing. Old folks who have been at it for a while are evil evil evil. They're in shape, and they have the competitive maturity. It can be very difficult to overcome.
