| Hello from Illinois
Hello Everyone. I have recently started teaching beginning fencing classes in Springfield, IL. There is nothing here, although there are a few other fencing organizations within an hour or so drive... I am also starting a fencing club with some other experienced fencers in the area. I fenced when I was in college and was President of the Fencing Cllub at NIU for a few years back in the late 70's. Am enjoying the sport, the social interaction, and the inter-generational sharing that I am finding with fencing at this point. I am looking forward to this forum as well. |

| Thank you! One really cool thing is I have just gotten back in touch with my former fencing teacher/coach from NIU. He is still fencing/coaching, and is ranked 22nd in the Veteran's catagory! | |

no my sister does not fence unfortunately...dont thnk shes got the time to be honest...hectic work and she has too look after her son as she has jst had a divorce.
yea im frm the UK i live in guernsey, channel islands. yea i went to see my sister when i was 10 but thats the only time ive been to the states.
