Looks for even more Frenchies coming to PCS circuits. I'm working on getting at least 4 of them (including 2 national team members) to Duel in the Desert this year.
Flessel, by any chance?

I think that makes it bigger than Duel in the Desert even. Good for them! PCS is really going nuts

The question is
will they have enough strips to manage to run one flight of pools?
129/7 ~ 19

Probaly DHCJr can enlighten us....

I have not been involved with the floor plan, just the Armorers. Normally we have 18 in the 2 gyms. There are some other rooms we have used in the past for one or two strips. I will push for that.

Thanks Donald. A couple of extra strips can make a big difference in this case

They will set up some temporary stips, so we have at least 19. One warning, not all strips will be grounded. There are 8 strips in the small gym, with 8 painted on strips.

It's not the volume so much as the pitch...when she lets one loose, dogs come for miles!!

I remember one time when Ed Richard almost gave her a card from across the room!

You know, some people would argue that loudly colored socks can be just as distracting....

It's nice to see Women's Sabre out west has reached critical mass - LBI is a B2, assuming everyone shows up. I shall be sad to miss it!

But is there a plot by A-rated sabreists to not show up so no one else can earn an A? Or are there not any As on the west coast? All it would take are 2 As to have both men and women's Sabre events be A2, but not a single A is coming for either.

There aren't too many A-rated saber fencers in the western portion of the US.

In the Pacific Coast Section, I think there's Curtis Andrus and Teddy Leavitt, both at Stanford (which just started school, so they''re probably too busy). Jr in LA is an A, but he's only fencing the Duel In The Desert and for money. One or several of the Runyans are As, but they're not listed, are they? We had several A women saber fencers, but once they got their A, they moved away for college.

What we don't have is A classified saber fencers moving into CA, as opposed to moving out of CA.
