    I've started fencing with my left hand, but I primarily fence right handed...
    Yeah, fencing's the only thing I can do left handed and not look like a graceless elephant.

    We must revive this thread for the sake of International Left-Handers Day on Sunday, August 13th!! Fellow lefties, it is OUR day to shine tomorrow!! Let us rejoice everything that is "lefty"...

    For all that we suffered through: ink-smudged hands and paper, right-handed doorknobs, right-handed watches, spiral notebooks, can openers...ah, the list is endless! A lefty day was made just for us *teary-eyed*...

    But spread the word to other lefties about this day!

    (Okay, I don't really know what I'm talking about but it might have originated from that sugary chocolate bar I just ate...)

    Most terms for left-handers are not flattering, example sinister.

    There use to be a company called Arista which was a company for left-handed products. They got their name from the Greek term for left-handed.

    If you notice, it forms the basis for Aristocratic.

    Too many people in the fencing world are jealous of left handed fencers. Notice that many RIGHT handed fencers start to train left handed. what's up with that??
