I would never have guessed. You have the typing fingers of a 20-year-old.

I fence about 2-3 times per week, but my work out is fairly intense for 2-3 hours, maybe resting for few minutes between drills, lesson, and bouting. I pace myself fencing some of the kids and teens, and, I typically fence to 90-210 points fairly intensively against one of the best A's in my section. We stop for a minute or two everytime he gets to a multiple of 15 (or rarely when I do it first). I think I rest about 10/min per hour for first 2 hours, and 15 min for the third. I get tired and as sabreman indicated, my body resents more than this... I'm almost 42.

maybe once i "grow up" ill find somewhere outside ireland where i can train more than twice a week...

im gonna do footwork everyday now tho...just to get it all worked out in my head.

I said 3 times a week (3 hours each day) as this is what I usually find time for. However, like others, it really varies from 0-5 times a week. I like to fence a min. of 2 times per week. I also cycle to work and do yoga.

This year I will be adding some gym training as I am going to start working with a trainer (and try and squeeze a little better performance out of this 40-something year old body)

soundinspace is on a distinguished road
I fence at practice 4 days a week for 3-4 hours. Then there's always a competition somehwere that requires some traveling for me and long long days.
AND this is on top of going to full time college (engineering) and working AT least 15 hours a week, officer duties for the club, and being a member of other clubs. procastinating, and keeping up with my hobby of sleeping.
