Has the schedule of the transmissions. Only France 2-3 are national TV's all the other ones are extra ones that you get through satelite or cable.

Soos, if you know someone who has Pathe Sports, you should get him/her to tape it, since it looks like they will have the most coverage of it.
    • Epee is the Louis Vuitton bag of fencing: only the best can get it, and the rest of the masses must content themselves with cheap knockoffs (sabre, foil)
    • To not recognize the power of the French grip is to be in denial

The times they specify on France 2 and France 3 are all over the place. Don't they block things out on the half-hour at :00 and :30? What's with the 15:55 to 17:45? Are they showing movies or something?

Anyway, they look like decent amount of times (about an hour+ each day). There's about four hours or more there, so if you can tape them, that would be great. Once taped, I can convert them to US' NTSC format and send them to all the fencing fans around.

Incidentally....There was mention in the beginning of this thread that EuroSport doesn't show any fencing. Well, it looks like EuroSport _will_ be showing quite a bit of the WCs: 4 hours live coverage during the competition, 2 hours of summaries, and also live coverage of the finals on Nov. 1st. Good news for those of us in Europe, at any rate!

Hey, Mr. KMS, please email me, edew@olagrande.net. Let's see if I can get a copy over here and make dupes for the (fencing TV coverage) starving folks in USofA. I haven't heard from my regular supplier from Sweden, so if you're willing to help out, that would be great.

I have sent tapes to Oz and NZ. You guys use the NTSC format, no? (Alternative is PAL, except for France, which uses yet another non-compatible format.)[/LIST]
