    Crossing Jordan

Last night I watched a episode of Crossing Jordan. It seems there is a lot of cut-throat in getting fencing scholarships. They fenced in Di Cicco Gym. Since this is supposedly in Boston, does anyone who saw it or has heard of Di Cicco Gym comment.

Obviously, if there was a fencing advisor, they were overruled by the director. They had a practice bout, no masks and Woody fencing in his street clothes.

"Woody" (actually Jerry O'Connell) used to actually fence you know. Other than that useless piece of information, I got nothing.

One suspects that like most shows it was actually filmed somewhere in the Los Angeles area. I think O'Connell was associated with a salle in NYC, so it's possible he wangled a shoot there...

He was apparently a very good sabre fencer at one time ( so naturally they gave him a foil for his fencing scene, which was standard repetitive "flash" theatrical fencing ).
