I strongly disagree. Until
Deadwood comes back on the air, this is the only show worth watching religiously every week. What, like Desperate Housewives is any sort of competition?
Rome continues to impress me with its superb acting, gorgeous sets, and attention to detail. And a little full-frontal nudity hasn't killed anyone yet. Even though you KNOW what's eventually going to happen to Caesar, it's the journey to that moment that hooks you. I keep rethinking all of my old history and even Shakespeare, and wonder how they're going to get these characters - who are getting fleshed out so nicely - to that point of action. Not to mention the questions about what will happen to all the other characters!
Gav, I hope it makes it to your neck of the woods sometime soon. It's addicting. Ignore what Goofy said.
