Array Need Help on German Website! I'm trying to help a clubmate find tickets to the Senior Worlds in Leipzig, but the official ticketing site (yes, you have to BUY tickets to watch, this year) is in German.
They're trying to get tickets for the Men's Sabre Individual & Finals, Women's Sabre Individual & Finals, and the WS Team event.
There is suppposed to be an all venue/all events multi-day pass, plus a finals only pass, in addition to the general admission, one-day-only pass.
For the life of me, I can't decipher what is what on the site: www.arena-ticket.com
Anyone with German language skills care to point us in the right direction?
Many Danke Schons in advance! "Sometimes we, as coaches, get into that dictator mode where you just tell and you don't listen and you don't try to understand them." Tom Izzo, Mich. St.

Array I hope "your clubmate" has a lot of fun watching the USA team getting some medals. Perhaps, you can lend her your HD camera. -

Many Danke Schons in advance! In the Suche (search) row you should write fechten (fencing). That gives you a list of alternatives.
Some useful German words:
Florett - foil
Degen - epee
Säbel - sabre
Männer - Men
Frauen - women
Mannschaft - team
Viel Glück!
Peter Gustafsson -
MS: Herrensäbel
WS: Damensäbel
individual: Einzel-
On fencing2005.com there is mention of an all-championships-without-finals ticket for 50 EUR that can be purchased via the Leipzig sports administration only. Not sure whether that too is for DFB members only.
On arena-ticket.com you can click on the page icon next to the "fechten" search results for more detailled information on ticket prices and events that day.
Tageskarte: one day ticket
Dauerkarte: all championships (???) (no info whether with/without finals?)
In case you'll be going for one-day tickets it might be easier to look up the English schedule here: http://www.fencing2005.com/sport/sport_06.php
HTH.
Too bad it's German only... On the other hand at Athens if was English but they accepted Visa cards only, keeping me from booking my tickets in advance. I hope they don't do something equally stupid for Leipzig!
Have a nice stay,
