| Well, unless you are from the northeast, sneakers is not really the preferred term. Most people will use the generic label tennis shoes for standard everyday athletic footwear.

| Sneakers is pretty common around here, although it seems more popular with women as it sounds "cute". Anyway, I got my Blades in the mail today. Very nice looking and feeling, although they are somewhat still/uncomfortable where the that button thing is at the start of the toe box as other people have mentioned. I hope they loosen up. I ordered my normal size and they fit very compfortably. Also I love the all rubber sole as I don't have to worry about them desintigrating if they get wet like I do with my Adidas. So far I am very happy with them. I will be using them for a few hours tonight so I will give more of an impression then.

| Well, I was born in Wisconsin, and have lived in Chicago, San Diego, Memphis, Auburn AL, and now Oxford. Everywhere I have gone, tennashoes has been the term most commonly used. I would be interested to know what term a newscaster trying to avoid a regional dialect would use.

| just back from having used them for the first time and i am pretty happy with them. they are pretty comfortable from the off, apart from a little stiffness in the upper. they are a bit roomier than than the darts, so for me they need to be done up quite tightly. i also had a little bit of a grip problem on the new wooden, dusty floor that we fence on, but still not too bad at all.
i liked them and would recomend them to others. |

| I used them at practice tonight, and they worked great. Before, I really had problems lunging because my front toe would slide into the inside of my shoe and split open....bloody business. Anyway, now that I have these shoes, I can actually lunge again without hurting. It's amazing to actually be able to grip the floors. No blisters or foot pain at all. They work great |

| WooHoo! I got mine today too. I tried them on and wore them around the house a bit. They fit perfectly. Nice short laces too!! (Don't you hate that?!)
Tomorrow I will be fencing in them, will have more to comment.

I've not been able to wear them since the first time that I wore them for serious practice (last Thursday) as the skin under my rear ankle has been taken off. Other than that I am mightily impressed. Grip! I can't believe I can get grip on a dusty wooden floor. What a difference that makes and yes, you have to get used to it. |

| I have an order in for a pair for my son, but the order is pending due to "high demand". That might be because I also ordered a weapon; I don't know which item is holding things up. I've asked and am waiting for a reply, but in the mean time is anyone else on hold?

| I fenced with mine a fair amount last night. I absolutely love them. Great support and incredible traction on the wooden floors we meet and practice on. Best of all because of the stability bar I actually stop when I want to stop. I don't slide forward a bit on a lunge and an don't have to worry about rolling my ankle when I turn a retreat into a lunge. If all that were not cool enough because the soles are all synthetic I can were them outside, even if it is wet, without having to worry about destroying the leather roll over reinforcement like I do with all the adidas shoes I have had. And they are comfortable enough that I might actually want to were them longer than just for fencing practice! Obviously I can't say much about their durability after one night of use, but if they hold up well these are my new favorite fencing shoes. I really recommend them as it is quite a bit of difference in compfort and stability.

| I wore them to work today to help break them in. Very comfortable for walking around the office environment. Closing the door to practice some lunges...
They work!

| These shoes sound like they work really well. The only problem I have is how ugly they are. But then they look better then some of the shoes made in china or korea. |

| oh. Well then now I can just be straight up and honest. Those shoes might preform well but they are damn low class looking. Kind of like the stuff the west end folks would buy. |

| I want to start a poll of LP shoes vs Adidas Stabil 5/6's. But I'm going to wait until those on this board have had a good couple weeks time to wear the new LP shoes. Coincidentally the Adidas Stabil 6's have come out either this week or last week for 85 dollars.
Although I know its a very small margin of people on this board who have had the opportunity to wear both these shoes, but it'd be worth it to me since I'll be purchasing shoes in December.
Anyways, I call shotgun on that! No one dare make that poll in the armoury section or I will foot-touch your big toe right out of its joint.
