CMA is on a distinguished road
color bleeding on equipments

i am just wondering what is the best way to wash a glove that color bleeds.
the allstar instructions say to hand wash the glove in 30c water with a mild detergent, idk but i dont have time alkways to hand wash my glove.

i also read that drying the glove in spin dryer or washing it with a spin washer reduces the protection, is this true

comments pleasae especially for those with allstar gloves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps fencing vendors suck

Wash it with dark colors? Or wash it seperate/by hand a couple of times until it stops bleeding.

Mine tends to bleed a little as well which can be a problem since its neon green. I just use dish soap or shampoo and just dunk the thing in the bathroom sink. I let it sit in the cold soapy water for 5 min then rise and let sit in cold clean water for 5 min or so. the bottom line is its just a glove so don't worry to much about it your only trying to get the nastyness out not return it to like new. At least thats how I look at it.

You can add a bit of ammonia to your washing solution and try that. I bought a strong ammonia solution at a pharmacy and dilute it a lot before adding it. I then clean my glove/jacket with it using a brush and that works well for me. HTH.

Hey, I could use a free glove if anybody wants to send me one. =)
