Uh, no, as a male, my bathroom habits don't influence my suspender use. I have heard of number of women who forego suspender use to enable quicker turnaround times though. (At a NAC last year I overheard the good part of two pools of women fencers discussing and trading restroom hints for competitions

Personally, I usually don't use suspenders with fencing pants, but that's because I really haven't found suspenders to be of much use. My pants stay up just fine with the waist closures and have far more than the reg 10cm overlap. The suspenders are more annoying than useful.
