We have hosted the first of 10 tournaments in a regional mall in Gastonia NC. We believe that it was very successful for exposing fencing to the general public. For many in the area it was the first time that they had ever seen fencing. Here the numbers that turned out. Overall we handed out over 300 flyers on fencing.

If you are looking at getting exposure for your fencing club and have a mall in the area we highly recommend hosting a tournament in the mall. If you would like any further information on how to convince the mall management that this is a good idea for the merchants then you can PM us and we will be happy to help. We would also like to thank all our sponsors (the fencers) for showing up to enlighten the general public. The event made both the 6 and 11 o'clock news both days.
